With each successive round, Y Combinator frequently funds new markets of startups that solve existing problems for other YC companies and the greater startup ecosystem.  I’ve recently been able to identify sixteen such companies in five new markets.

The 464 startups prior to YC’s current batch have each raised an average of $3.18 million dollars, according to a recent tweet by Paul Graham.  The math on that collectively means those companies have raised over 1.4 billion dollars. Of those companies, here’s what’s raised money in the last couple of weeks.
